Rodeo Buckle Rules and Guidelines

Eligibility:

To be eligible for a rodeo buckle, you must participate in the rodeo & compete in all the classes.

Divisions

Participants will be grouped into the following age divisions:

  • Jr. Jr. - Ages 9 & under

  • Junior - Ages 10-12

  • Teen Ages 13-19

  • Adult Ages 20 & up

Note: Your age is determined as of January 1st of this year.

How it works

Your overall score for the day will be calculated by combining your times and any penalties from your runs. The lowest total score in each division will win.

The number of buckles awarded in each division, with a maximum of two per division, will depend on the number of participants. To qualify for two buckles, a division must have more then 5 participants.

Note : If you are disqualified or recieve a no time in any class, you will receive a default score of 90 seconds for that class. Only timed events will be included in the final tally.

This will not be counting your placings in your classes but your Times in your events.

Awarding Buckles

Buckle winners will be announced at the conclusion of the awards ceremony. This year, winners will have the exciting opportunity to design their own custom buckle, with a budgeted amount allocated for each buckle. We will arrange a time to meet with each winner in the weeks following the rodeo to finalize and place the custom orders.

There will be no physical buckles presented at the awards ceremony.
